Whats the best powerful electric water gun to buy now?

Okay, so check this out, I finally got around to building that electric water gun I was talking about! It was way more involved than I thought, but the results are pretty awesome.
First off, I grabbed a cheap water gun from the dollar store. You know, the kind that's all plastic and feels like it'll break if you look at it wrong. That's perfect because I was gonna rip it apart anyway.
Next, I needed the electric part. I scavenged a small 12V water pump from an old aquarium filter I had lying around. It was kinda crusty, but after a good cleaning, it worked like a charm. I also snagged a 12V rechargeable battery pack from an old RC car – those things are gold for projects like this.
Then the real fun began. I disassembled the water gun completely. I removed the pump and all the spring-loaded garbage. The idea was to replace the manual pump with the electric one. This involved some serious Dremel work. I had to cut out a bigger hole to fit the new pump and figure out how to connect the tubing. It was messy and involved a lot of hot glue – seriously, hot glue is your best friend for this kind of stuff.
The tubing was a pain. The original water gun tubing was too small, so I had to find some slightly larger tubing that would fit snugly on both the pump and the water gun's nozzle. I ended up using some silicone tubing I had leftover from another project. It's flexible and seems to hold up well under pressure.
Wiring was pretty straightforward. I connected the pump to the battery pack with some simple wires and a switch. I used a small toggle switch that I mounted on the side of the water gun. That way, I could easily turn the pump on and off. I also added a small fuse to protect the pump in case something went wrong.
Assembly was tricky. Getting everything to fit back inside the water gun's casing was like trying to shove a watermelon into a mailbox. I had to do some more cutting and hot gluing, but eventually, I got it all crammed in there. It doesn't look pretty, but it works!
Finally, the moment of truth! I filled the water gun with water, flipped the switch, and... BAM! Water shot out like a freaking firehose! It was way more powerful than I expected. The stream went like 20 feet! I was grinning like an idiot.
Of course, there were a few hiccups. The first time I tried it, the tubing popped off inside the gun, and I ended up with water everywhere. I had to re-secure it with more hot glue and some zip ties. I also realized that the battery pack wasn't lasting very long, so I'm thinking about upgrading to a larger battery.
But overall, I'm super happy with how it turned out. It's a ridiculously fun and surprisingly powerful electric water gun. Definitely worth the effort. Maybe next I'll try adding a targeting laser... just kidding (maybe).
