Okay, so I finally got around to using that new pressure washer spray gun I picked up. Let me tell you how it went down.

Got the pressure washer out of the garage, it's been sitting there for a bit, you know how it is. The old gun was leaking like crazy, pretty much useless. So, unwrapped the new one. Felt pretty solid in my hand, not too heavy, which is good. Didn't come with a ton of instructions, but looked straightforward enough.

Getting Started

First thing was connecting it. Just had to screw the hose from the pressure washer into the bottom of the gun handle. Pretty simple, thankfully. Then snapped one of the nozzle tips onto the end of the wand. I started with the green one, think it's like a 25-degree spray? Seemed like a safe bet.

Turned on the water, then fired up the pressure washer engine. Okay, moment of truth. Squeezed the trigger on the new gun.

The Actual Washing Part

Whoa! Okay, yeah, that works. Had a nice, strong spray. Way better than the old leaky one. I decided to tackle the concrete pathway first, it was getting pretty green and slippery.

Started spraying, moving the wand back and forth. It was actually kinda satisfying watching the grime just blast away. You have to find the right distance, you know? Too close and you might etch the concrete, too far and it doesn't clean as well. Found a sweet spot about a foot away.

• Covered the whole pathway. Took maybe 20 minutes?
• Moved onto the bottom part of the fence, where mud splashes up.
• Even did the plastic lawn chairs, they look almost new again.

The trigger lock was handy, saved my hand from cramping up after a while. Just gotta remember to unlock it before you put it down!

What I Reckon

Holding the trigger down for a while does make your hand a bit tired, but way less than with the old gun that fought me the whole time. The connection points stayed dry, no leaks, which was the main goal. Changing the nozzles was easy too, just a quick pull and snap.

Overall, pretty happy with this thing. Made the job a lot quicker and less annoying. The pathway looks way better and safer now it's not slick with green stuff. Definitely a good replacement for the busted original gun. Got the job done, simple as that.
