My Stinky Washer Situation

Okay so my front-load washer started smelling like wet socks mixed with rotten eggs. No joke - every time I opened that rubber door seal, this nasty mildew punch hit me right in the face. Tried running vinegar cycles before but that stink came crawling back after two weeks.

Saw this blue bottle called Ahh Some Washer Cleaner at the hardware store last Tuesday. Packaging promised "fast foam action" and "kills odor-causing gunk". Skeptical but desperate, I tossed it in my cart thinking worst case I'm out twenty bucks.

The Dirty Work Begins

Followed the stupid-simple instructions:

• Pried open the detergent drawer
• Sloshed the whole bottle into that slot
• Slammed the drawer shut like it owed me money
• Punched buttons for "tub clean" cycle on hottest setting

Heard the water whooshing in and went to binge Netflix.

Holy Foam Explosion!

Fifteen minutes later, walked past the laundry room and did a double-take. Foam was bubbling out the door seal like a science fair volcano! Opened the door slightly and this mountain of weird brown suds just kept growing. Smelled chemical but clean, kinda like bleach fighting a sewer.

Disgusting But Satisfying
