How Watch Cleaner Machine Works? A Simple Guide for Beginners

2025-08-24Source:Hubei Falcon Intelligent Technology

So yesterday I finally unboxed that watch cleaner machine I grabbed online last month. Always hated gunk buildin' up in my old Casio, ya know? Figured it's time to learn how this magic box actually cleans stuff.

Opening the Can of Worms

First thing's first - pulled the machine outta its foam packaging. Looked simple enough: just a plastic tub with some weird propeller thingy inside. No instructions though, typical cheap Amazon buy. Plugged it into the wall socket and immediately heard a scary buzzzz. Almost yanked the cord out thinking it'll blow up!

Trial-and-Error Phase

Tossed my watch in dry first like an idiot. Pressed the only button - WHOOSH! The watch went nuts spinning like a tornado inside. Nearly chipped the glass on the tub walls! Lesson learned: always add liquid first. Drained it out, poured water mixed with two drops of dish soap like my ma does for jewelry. Second try - smoother spin but soap bubbles leaked everywhere. What a greasy mess on my kitchen counter.

The "Aha!" Moment

Realized three things fast:

  • Water level matters: Too much = flood, too little = watch bangs around
  • Soap type matters: Used hand soap next time - way less bubbles!
  • Strap position matters: When I clipped the band loose instead of tight, no more dings

Let it run full 3-minute cycle. Pulled out the watch - holy smokes! Grime I didn't even know existed floated in the water. Wiped it dry with microfiber cloth and it looked brand freaking new.

Final Thoughts

After cleaning four more watches today (got carried away!), got the routine down pat. Load tub with watch and finger-warm water. Two soap drops max. Close lid tight. Hit button. Sip coffee while it does the work. Works amazing for metal/plastic watches but won't risk my fancy leather-band one. Pro tip: never open mid-cycle unless you want a soapy face mask! Overall? For twenty bucks, this lil' spinner's gold.
