How to Clean Your Washer with Electrolux Cleaner Easy Step by Step

2025-09-05Source:Hubei Falcon Intelligent Technology

Alright folks, today was washer cleaning day! Been meaning to do this for weeks, finally grabbed my bottle of Electrolux Washer Cleaner and got down to business. Here’s exactly how it went down, step by step.

Getting Everything Ready

First things first, knew I needed a few things:

  • The Electrolux cleaner bottle (pretty obvious!)
  • Cleaning rags – for wiping up any spills, because trust me, it happens.
  • Rubber gloves – don't be a hero, that stuff isn't skin lotion.

Checked the washer drum was totally empty. Double-checked! No rogue socks hiding in there. Wiped down the outside really quick with a damp cloth because why not make it all shiny?

Time to Pour That Cleaner In

Cracked open the Electrolux cleaner bottle. Smelled kinda... clean? Chemical clean, not flowers. Unscrewed the cap and sniffed carefully – yep, powerful stuff. Got my gloves on. The bottle says it’s pre-measured, so no messing about with cups. Just poured the whole bottle straight into the washer drum. Easy peasy. Sloshed a bit near the end, grabbed a rag and wiped it up fast.

Closed the lid nice and tight. Made sure it clicked shut.

Running the Cycle

Walked over to the control panel. Looked for the hottest water setting – on my Electrolux, it's called "Sanitary". Seemed perfect. Set it to run the whole cycle. Hit start.

Heard the water gushing in. Felt good knowing it was heating up and soaking that drum. Went off and did other things for... a long time. These cycles take ages! Heard it chugging away, rinsing and spinning. Didn’t peek once, figured I should just let it do its thing.

After the Cycle Finishes

Heard the little "I'm done!" beep. Went over, popped open the lid. Phew! Hit by steam and that strong cleaner smell again. Used a rag to wipe down the inside of the door – found some grimy bits hiding in the rubber gasket. Wiped that gasket real good, especially around the folds. Disgusting black grit came off on the rag! That’s why we do this, folks.

Left the lid open to air it out properly. Let everything dry completely.

Final Thoughts

Honestly, using the Electrolux cleaner was dead simple. Pour bottle in, run hot cycle, wipe gunk. Done. Smelled kinda strong during, but after airing out? Fresh and clean. Drum looks way brighter now, especially compared to before. Felt kinda satisfying wiping out that hidden grime. Highly recommend grabbing this stuff if you got an Electrolux washer. Takes little effort, makes a real difference.
