Okay, so I decided to get serious about finding a good cleaning robot. I mean, who actually likes vacuuming? Not me. So, I figured I'd start by making a list of all the companies that make these things. It seemed simple enough, but wow, was I in for a surprise!

The Initial Brain Dump

First, I just started writing down any brand names I could think of. You know, the ones you see in commercials or at the big box stores. This gave me a pretty short list, honestly. I felt like I was missing a ton, though.

Digging Deeper with Good Ol' Google

Next, I turned to Google. I started with simple searches like "cleaning robot brands" and "best robot vacuum companies". The results were...overwhelming. So many articles, so many "top 10" lists, and so many brands I'd never even heard of! I started copying names into my list, trying to keep things organized.

Getting Specific

After a while, I realized I needed to be more specific. I started searching for things like "robot vacuums for pet hair" and "robot mops for hardwood floors". This helped me narrow down the list a bit and find some companies that specialized in certain features.

The List Takes Shape (Slowly)

• I realized some companies only make robot vacuums.
• Others only did robot mops.
• And then there were the big guys that offered both.

My hands were cramping, it's tiring to searching and writing!

Feeling a Bit Lost

Honestly, by this point, I was feeling a bit overwhelmed. My "simple" list had turned into a sprawling, disorganized mess. I had company names, some notes about features, and a general feeling of "what have I gotten myself into?".

After all of searching and writing, my list looks good! I can clearly know which company I should focus on.

So, yeah, that's where I'm at. Still a long way to go before I actually buy a robot, but at least I've got a (somewhat) comprehensive list of companies to start with. It's a start, right?
