Okay, so I decided to tackle this whole "mattress cleaning company" thing. I've been seeing ads everywhere, and honestly, my mattress... well, let's just say it's seen better days.

The Hunt Begins

First, I jumped online. I just did some research on "mattress cleaning services," and what to check when I find companies to select.

Making the Choice

I narrowed it down to three companies that seemed okay, then I did some asking around.

• Checked the price. Some were charging way more than I thought.
• Looked the customer reviews.

I picked one that seemed like a good middle ground – not the cheapest, but good enough for my old mattress.

The Cleaning Day

The cleaning guys showed up on time, which was a good start. They took a look at my mattress and explained what they were going to do – some kind of deep cleaning with special equipment. It sounded a bit fancy, but I just wanted the thing cleaned!

They got to work, and it was pretty noisy. I just left them to it and did some chores around the house.

The Results

After about an hour, they were done. Honestly, the mattress looked a lot better. I mean, it wasn't brand new, but those suspicious stains that I pretended not to see? Gone! And it smelled way fresher, too.

I paid them, they left, and that was it. Overall, was it worth it? I think so. It's way cheaper than buying a new mattress. Would I do it again? I am gonna to do that every year or so!
