Okay, here's my experience with finding construction cleaning companies:

So, the other day, I finally finished up that big renovation project on my house. You know, the one I'd been talking about forever? Well, the construction part was done, but the MESS... oh man, the mess was unbelievable. Dust everywhere, bits of drywall, stray nails, you name it. I knew I couldn't handle it myself. I needed help, and fast.

First, I did what everyone does – I grabbed my phone and started searching. I typed in "construction cleaning companies near me." I am not a professional, I do not know those complicated words, just enter the most basic words to search.

My initial searches brought up a TON of options. It was kind of overwhelming, to be honest. I saw a bunch of national chains, some smaller local companies, and even a few individuals advertising their services.

Narrowing it down.

I started by reading some online reviews. I figured that was the best way to get a feel for who was reliable and who wasn't. I looked at Google reviews, Yelp, and even a few of those home service websites.

I quickly learned that price wasn't the only factor. Some of the cheaper options had some pretty scary reviews! Things like "didn't show up" or "left the place a bigger mess." Yikes!

I made a list of about five companies that seemed promising. They had decent reviews, and their websites looked professional (or at least, not like they were thrown together in five minutes).

Making some calls

Then came the phone calls. This was the most telling part, I think. I called a few of the list. Some of them didn't even answer! One place had a super rude receptionist. No thanks.

Getting some quotes.

I ended up getting quotes from three different companies. They all came out to the house to take a look, which I appreciated. It gave them a chance to see the mess firsthand, and it gave me a chance to get a better feel for who they were.

The prices varied a bit, but not by a huge amount. I ended up going with the company that seemed the most organized and professional. They had a clear process, they were insured, and they just seemed like they knew what they were doing.

The Cleaning Day

They showed up on time, with all their equipment and supplies. It was a team of three people, and they got right to work. I was seriously impressed. They were thorough, efficient, and they really paid attention to the details.

They vacuumed, dusted, wiped down every surface, and even cleaned the windows. When they are done. The house looked amazing! It was such a relief to finally have everything clean and back to normal.
