Okay, so the concrete floor in my garage was looking pretty nasty. I'm talking oil stains, grime, who-knows-what-else caked on there. I figured it was time to get it professionally cleaned, but I had no idea where to start. So, I grabbed my phone and started searching.

First, I just typed in "concrete cleaning companies near me." Simple enough, right?

The search results popped up, I saw a bunch of names I'd never heard of. So I started looking at the review ratings. A few companies had, some others, not so much. I figure, gotta go with the ones that have good reviews, that is simple logic.

I checked a few websites. Wanted to see if they looked professional and all that. Some were kinda janky, to be honest, so I skipped those.

• Made sure they specifically mentioned concrete cleaning.
• Looked for any mention of the type of cleaning they do (like, power washing, etc.).

I narrowed it down to three companies that looked promising. I gave each of them a call. Here's how that went:

• Company #1: Super friendly on the phone. Gave me a quote right away, and it seemed reasonable.
• Company #2: Seemed a bit rushed. Quote was a bit higher than Company #1.
• Company #3: They wanted to come out and see the garage before giving me a quote. Sounded the most thorough.

Making My Decision

Even though Company #3 meant waiting a bit longer for a quote, I decided to go with them. Felt like they were going to do the best job. They came out, took a look, gave me a price, and we scheduled the cleaning.

They showed up on time, did a great job on the floor and now my garage floor looks amazing! Totally worth it. No more mystery stains!
