Okay, here's my blog post about figuring out this whole "Idaho dry cleaning company" thing:

So, I was given this task, "Idaho dry cleaning company," and I was like, "Okay... what do I do with this?" It's not much to go on, is it? I figured I needed to, you know, actually find some info about dry cleaning businesses in Idaho. That seemed like a good first step.

Digging In

First, I started with a broad search. Just typed it straight in to see what would pop up. I got a bunch of, well, everything. Lots of ads, some general business listings, pretty overwhelming. It was like trying to find a specific sock in a mountain of laundry.

Then, I tried to narrow it down. I added some extra words, like "best rated" and "reviews." This helped a little. I started seeing some names of actual companies popping up more consistently.

• I saw a few names that kept coming up, so I jotted those down.
• I looked at some of those online review sites. You know, the ones where people complain about everything? Yeah, those. But they can be useful, sometimes.
• Some businesses had websites, most didn't, many of those that did had very little useful information.

Getting Specific with location and service

I realized I needed to be more specific. "Idaho" is a pretty big place. So I started looking at different cities and towns. Like, "Boise dry cleaning" or "Idaho Falls dry cleaning." That made a HUGE difference.

I also thought about what kind of dry cleaning I might be interested in. Like, are we talking about regular clothes? Wedding dresses? Leather jackets? So I added those terms too, when I could find information on them.

I paid attention to their listed services, if available.

This whole process was a lot of trial and error, honestly. Lots of searching, lots of clicking around, lots of going down rabbit holes that didn't lead anywhere. But eventually, I started to get a better sense of what's out there. It's not a quick thing, that's for sure!
